Franco-Senegalese dancer and choreographer Amala Dianor, who is known for happily hybridizing forms and styles between hip-hop, his artistic homeland, and contemporary art, presents his new creation DUB at the Théâtres de la Ville. In association with composer Awir Leon and visual artist Grégoire Korganow, Amala Dianor creates an ephemeral territory, designed as a meeting space, which offers a troupe of young urban dancers the opportunity to deploy their creative energy and the vitality of new dances currently developing in underground communities. With eleven dancers influenced by aesthetics from around the world, DUB summons the musical and choreographic vitality of Generation Z in a joyful, free and contemporary utopia.
