Since Georges Méliès, the moon has been an inexhaustible subject of cinema.
For director Fritz Lang and screenwriter Thea von Harbou, who is adapting her own novel, the night star is the object of all desires and the scene of a thwarted love story. The film is accompanied by the music of Timothy Brock, also at the head of the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra.
