Danûk is the story of a double rebirth. Firstly, it is the rebirth of Kurdish musicians in exile who fled the war in Syria to find themselves in Istanbul and build a new artistic future. Secondly, it is the revival of a heritage that lay dormant in the archives of Berlin and Vienna, brought to life and to our ears to highlight a music of incredible diversity, symbolizing a peaceful multicultural geographical area.
