Presentation of Doctoral Scholarships
For 8 years, AFFDU Lorraine and its partner AMESTE (Moselle association for scientific, technical and economic education) have awarded scholarships to female doctoral scientists who have distinguished themselves through the quality of their research projects and the exemplary nature of their careers.
This year a round table is being organized on the occasion of the presentation of these scholarships, in Cape Town with some questions addressed:
Whether you come from an engineering school or have a master's degree at university, what are the possibilities available to aim for a doctorate?
What exactly is a doctorate?
What is the motivation of these young people who are embarking on this adventure, with what perspective?
What are the advantages and disadvantages of such an ambitious path?
The round table aims to answer these questions through the testimonies of former prizewinners with diverse backgrounds and a thesis director.
