The housing issue in Luxembourg is one of the major concerns of the population and constitutes a pressing challenge at the political level. With the support of the Ministry of Housing and Spatial Planning, LUCA is hosting the exhibition “Our New Housing – An Invitation to Cooperate”. This exhibition examines the anatomy of the housing market and presents an alternative model for creating housing that escapes speculation and remains affordable in the long term: housing cooperatives.
This exhibition, based on Céline Zimmer's doctoral thesis, is part of LUCA's desire to advance the debate on housing in Luxembourg. It will be accompanied by a series of conferences, workshops and guided tours.
