Recital: “Astor Piazzolla: The Passion of Tango!” In this recital, we celebrate the legacy of Astor Piazzolla, who created the style "Tango Nuevo" and became one of the most appreciated composers of the last century. With its striking sounds and varied rhythms, his music remains an inexhaustible source of emotion and sensuality; music lovers of all generations appreciate his compositions. The eclectic Stephany Ortega Trio and its original arrangements (made by Christophe Delporte) reflect their passion and commitment to Piazzolla's music, allowing his songs to navigate between classical and popular music, with a touch of pop and electronic that blends beautifully with the lyrical and modern voice of Stephany Ortega. For this album, the trio has created a passionate and sincere program of the most beautiful "tango canciones" and "milongas". After two critically acclaimed albums, "Return" and "American Soul: from Broadway to Paris," the latter also nominated for the International Classical Music Awards, soprano Stephany Ortega continues to showcase her Latin American roots, bridging the gap between classical and popular vocal styles.
