In 2024, the Council of Europe will celebrate its 75th anniversary, having been founded in Strasbourg on May 5, 1949, by ten member states including Luxembourg. Explore its history and achievements, and gain a better understanding of its concrete actions for the promotion of Human Rights, Democracy, and the Rule of Law. This exhibition celebrates the 70th anniversary of the European Cultural Convention signed in 1954, highlighting the significant impact the Council of Europe has had on Europeans' daily lives.
