This new fiction begins with the engagement of the Princess of England who places an order for her wedding dress at a prestigious French haute couture house located in Paris. Step by step, the show will follow the hands that will make this work. For eight months, the audience follows the process of creating a dress that will go down in history. A process that, due to royal commission and haute couture, is maintained under strict confidentiality clauses. We go from a Parisian haute couture house to an embroidery workshop in Mumbai, to the lace workshop in Alençon. Three worlds linked by work, know-how and secrecy. Three workshops where violence will surface between the linen and cotton threads. Where women and men have their bodies broken by work and by inherited and sealed stories.

In a great choral story that highlights the know-how of artisans, the author and director Caroline Guiela Nguyen tells the story of these shadow workers, these seamstresses, pattern makers, embroiderers with exceptional know-how, at the moment when their lives are about to change.
