Printemps de la gravure, the fifth exhibition of the 2024-2025 season, is now firmly established in the Espace Beau Site's programming. This time, it brings together Fabienne Daix, Edith Gistelinck, Sébastien Nardella, Nadine Sizaire, and Nicolas Venzi, artists who engage with contemporary printmaking in varied ways. Both dynamic and abundant in its technical as well as thematic diversity, printmaking requires precision, sensitivity, and a perfect mastery of its craft. Linocuts, wood engraving, etching, aquatint, or mezzotint, drypoint on plexiglass, and more recently, engraving on tetra pak, open a wide range of creativity. Painting, drawing, and collage also feature. Both abstract and figurative works are presented, in black and white and in color, alternating between small and large formats, surprising portraits, landscape profiles, architectural motifs, and atmospheres. The exhibition also involves the Atelier gravure from MJC VILLERUPT, which will host a more educational information space to introduce visitors to various printing techniques.
