Shahab FOTOUHI, 83 min, 2024 - Germany, Iran One day, at the whim of a crosswalk, Minoo starts flirting with Keyvan, whom she does not know. They soon become very close. On the other hand, Sima, Minoo's mother, is tired of her marriage to Behzad, a relatively secretive man whose wanderings are gradually revealed. The gap between the adults widens as the two young people experience the first moments of a charming relationship. Spanning a week, Boomerang subtly weaves into a fabric of intrafamilial relationships, unspoken words, and banal yet fascinating confrontations. At the same time, a unique portrait of Tehran emerges, between a dying world and the brilliance of the new generation.
