"Memory of Semois" by Dominique Billion. The Semois river, 210 km long, winds from Arlon to the Meuse at Monthermé, passing through Lorraine, Gaume, and the Ardennes. This basin of 1350 km² is rich in biodiversity, history, legends, and heritage. Following the Semois means traveling through time, from the Roman era to the present, encountering legends like the Saint Remacle cave and the Fairy Table, discovering the still active tobacco culture, enjoying traditional gastronomy, and admiring painters like Barthélémy, Raty, and Howet.
