Best of Gershwin! Smilla Wolff, pianist and trumpeter from Esch, brings to life the tireless enthusiasm of George Gershwin, the great American composer of the 1920s. The young musician, who was awarded the Rotary Club of Esch Music Prize in 2024, will perform her brilliant scores, notably from the musical An American in Paris. In the second part of the evening, the Orchestre de l'Harmonie municipale d'Esch/Alzette will offer other musical masterpieces from the cinema with compositions by John Williams (from the films Indiana Jones, Jurassic Park and ET), accompanied by a screening.
