The Lëtzebuerg City Bibliothèque and the Auschwitz Committee Luxembourg are honored to invite you to the presentation of the book 'Les femmes d’Auschwitz-Birkenau' by Ms. Chochana Boukhobza. Chochana Boukhobza, a writer and documentary filmmaker on the Holocaust, investigated for seven years the deportation and experiences of women at Auschwitz-Birkenau. She reconstructs the specific organization of Birkenau and brings life back to the prisoners from all over occupied Europe. Her account is a hymn to solidarity and freedom. The book was published in 2024 by Flammarion. This event is part of the commemoration of the liberation of the Auschwitz camp and Yom Ha Shoah Remembrance Day on April 23, 2025.
