Spiritual and Pastoral Guidance for Traumatized People

People who have experienced psychological trauma often suffer from post-traumatic disorders for years. They may seek help through psychotherapy and/or, if they are believers, through spiritual or pastoral care.
For spiritual and pastoral care for traumatized individuals to be successful, it is important that spiritual companions and pastors can recognize traumatic experiences. This training will provide basic knowledge about psychological trauma and trauma-related disorders, and will address the limits of spiritual guidance.
