Join us for a special guided tour of the permanent exhibition, which invites you to discover classic works from a queer perspective. Explore the hidden histories and new interpretations of works from the 17th to 19th centuries, revisiting portraits, genre scenes, and landscapes with an inclusive lens. While our collection does not explicitly feature artists recognized as queer today, these works can be appreciated from a variety of perspectives, revealing new dimensions of identity, beauty, and connection.
Among our highlights are creations from the Dutch Golden Age, Italian landscapes, and French masterpieces by Jan Brueghel the Younger, Canaletto, and Eugène Delacroix. Through this queer lens, each work invites us to reflect on and celebrate the diversity of self-expression.
