The Metz Foundation is a trio of young musicians passionate about improvised music, spread across the extremities of Europe namely Finland, Spain, and Luxembourg. Founded in Rotterdam (NL) in 2022, 'The Metz Foundation' made its debut with an underground tour of the Benelux countries and successfully spread its electric and energetic sound between different audiences. Comprising the instruments of saxophone, electric bass, and drums, the trio seeks to create dance-inducing music while blending raw, well-paced sounds with electronic effects. The trio highlights its own artistic identity with an original and varied repertoire based on their keywords "bold, raw, electric, danceable".
