The Walls Also Die · United Instruments of Lucilin
Contemporary conflict zones, in Ukraine, Palestine, and elsewhere, serve as the starting point for François Sarhan's latest creation, a theatrical, musical, and documentary investigation based on testimonies and current materials addressing identities shaped by violence. It features the range of anti-missile MUSIC products by Israeli company Elbit Systems or the tragic fate of Yakut shaman Alexandre Gabychev, punished with life-time psychiatric confinement for attempting to exorcise Vladimir Putin.
