CANAP' EVENT STREAMING - Vegan Muffins for Tea Time
CANAP' EVENT STREAMING - Vegan Muffins for Tea Time
First CANAP'EVENT live in ENGLISH PLEASE 🇬🇧🇺🇸For a snack with the kids or Tea Time with your other half, or just because your taste buds are sweet, Maya from Flowers Kitchen showed us all the steps to make vegan raspberries or/and blueberries muffins ... YUMMY! Come see the recipe, the best moments and great tips ⤵️
Maya is the super owner of Flowers Kitchen, a cozy and local little restaurant (as we like it) that proposes vegan dishes with the favorite of the house: the Falafel Bowl. Maya is the perfect example of a manager who continues to fight for her business to survive. We wanted to help and share a moment with her to learn more about her feelings about the crisis while cooking delicious vegan muffins. We spent a great moment of sharing and conviviality 🥰
And our super guest star during the live:
Marina Lai (theluxlife.lu), a great Food & Lifestyle blogger and ARA radio journalist. We had to live a lockdown and almost the end of the world to realize that we share the same values with this young amazing Mum! She also loves to share good tips and things to do in Luxembourg.

THE INGREDIENTS:
- 200gr of flour
- 60gr of sugar
- 50gr of oil
- 2 tbsp of baking powder
- 150ml of plant milk
- 1 to 2 ripe bananas
- 100gr blueberries or raspberries
THE STEPS:
Above all! Preheat the oven to 180°C
1. Dry ingredients: put the flour in a bowl, add the sugar and baking powder.
2. Wet ingredients: add a few drops of lemon juice to the plant milk of your choice, wait a few minutes (time to carry out step 3) and add the oil.
3. We prepare the bananas: peel the ripe bananas then cut them and crush them with a fork to make kind of a puree.
4. We mix it, we mix it: mix with an electric whisk the wet + dry ingredients + the banana puree. Then add blueberries or raspberries.
5. Hop in the oven: put some dough halfway up the molds (if you followed Maya, and not the Joyeuse Equipe aha, the muffins should swell well and the blueberries explode!), then put them in the oven for about 12 minutes (come and see Maya's tips below to know when they're baked ⬇️)

MAYA'S GREAT TIPS
- Do not use fresh yeast, but baking soda
- Don't mix dry and wet ingredients at the beginning
- Lemon in the plant milk: a super-chemical reaction for an even more yummy taste and a fluffier texture.
- No-waist method: if you have over-ripe bananas instead of throwing them away, make some muffins!
- To find out if the muffins are cooked, stick the tip of a knife into the muffins and if it comes out intact, it's good!
- Do not open the oven for the entire baking time.
- You can add peanut butter icing to muffins
