Next year, this cultural problem, won't be a problem anymore. Because, according to L'Essentiel, the "the jug of water" will appear on restaurant and bar menus. We will, therefore, pay for the purchase of these decanters and for their cleaning.
The quality of tap water is probably not a concern, since our kids drink tap water at school. And, according to Ville de Luxembourg :
"The City provides its residents with clean water, of which on average 60% comes from the City's own sources in Muhlenbach, Septfontaines, Pulvermuhl, Grunewald, Kopstal and Birelergrund." (source)
