A shower against the Covid at the entrance of a bar
LUXEMBOURG - A brewery in the capital, in Bonnevoie, is fortunate to be able to accommodate "a catalytic shower" to reassure its customers facing the coronavirus.
"This is a European first", according to the company TaEd Consulting, exclusive distributor responsible for marketing the "Sterilizer". The "Sterilizer" is presented as a "sanitary portico" and since the first week of October 2020, a first exhibition model is operational in Luxembourg-City, in the Bonnevoie district, at the Beaulieu brewery, located rue Félix de Blochausen.
She arrived just a little before the entrance portico. Dorothée Clesse, 25, waitress at the brasserie for a fortnight, gave us her testimony on the spot. “The idea is to guarantee the safety of customers and employees in the face of Covid-19,” she explains. “Customers get inside the gantry and activate it with the push of a button. This is used to kill bacteria that are on your clothes or hair. Once the photocatalysis is performed, we advance to a screen and your temperature is taken. If you are not wearing a mask, a reminder to this effect is also indicated. It is less dangerous than the disinfectant gel, everything happens in the air which is taken and returned. There are two types of customers: those who find it interesting and those who laugh about it. It's a big machine, so that can be a bit of a joke. A minority of other customers find it a bit "too much".
