#1 _ THE ILLUSION OF THE END

The exhibition « The Illusion of the End » starts on October 2nd and will focus on performance art. You will be able to watch a series of performances by 7 international artists, who question the boundaries between theatre, dance and performance art.
And all this LIVE! 🤩

Through video, contemporary dance, urban dance, kinetic sculpture, sound patterns, texts, gestures, or even costumes... the different artists question the question of time (tick-tock tick-tock... ⏳). Indeed, with the current political and cultural upheavals, our perception of linear time has shifted to a temporality that loops according to our emotional, psychological and existential needs.

« Post-Capital » is the exhibition that will be all over the museum until January 16, 2022.
About 20 artists, 17 countries, 3 floors at Mudam... enough to amaze you. 🌈

On the theme of Art and Economy in the Digital Age, this exhibition will make you question the contemporary economic realities that depend more than ever on technology but are also threatened by it. (Can you imagine yourself in Black Mirror? 🦾)

When you know to what extent technology has revolutionised our work, our relationship with money, our way of producing and consuming... it is sometimes difficult to realise that Luxembourg was only connected to the internet in 1992.... (eeeh yes! the time when we used to do our research on the Minitel and in the encyclopaedias is not that far, isn't it?! 🤓)

- Sculptures that poke fun at overproduction and the amount of information
- Fabulous 3D scans, perfect copies of objects found in museums around the world (you can even download them for free HERE).
- A floral installation that questions the use of free ports to protect wealth from taxes and links it to agricultural production in community gardens.
