A TOUCH OF HISTORY...
We give you an appointment at the feet of the Blast Furnaces, located in the middle of Belval 📍. Well considering the size, it's a bit complicated to pass by...
Your visit starts with a flashback, in the years 1913. The steel industry was in full development and it is from this moment that the Belval factory was built. Their role? To melt the iron ore "minett" 👨🏻🏭, extracted from the surrounding mines to obtain cast iron and then steel.
To give you an idea of the layout of the buildings, "a little model" (which in reality is giant) is on display 🏭
This is the perfect activity, as much for the heritage buffs of the region, as for those who want to spend an original moment with friends or family. No more museum visits, here it's you who discovers the history and unusual places of the iron industry, at your own pace.

A LITTLE TOUR OF THE FACTORY...
You start your exploration in the Möllerei, a building that was once used to store ore 🪨. Once out of the mine, the iron ore was transported to the factory and it was at this very place that it was transported together with coke, inside the Blast Furnace. It's like you're the ore in the end, you take the same route... 🤣
Today, the Mollerei is getting a makeover and also serves as an exhibition space with its majestic architectural setting!
