To kick off September on a folkloric note and forget the notion of time for a few moments, head to the Terres Rouges in Esch-sur-Alzette to give a fitting welcome to Barbara and her two accomplices, Félix and Giacomo! We'll take you through the magical and explosive 3-day programme from 7 to 9 September 📆

THE ANIMAL CAMP - THURSDAY 7 - PLACE DU BRILL

If you've got a slot in your diary on Thursday 7th and you've always dreamt of being a little mouse, you can take an exclusive look at the preparations for the event (behind the scenes) all day long.

With your curious eye, observe the preparations for the parade and the weekend's big party at the "animal camp" on Place du Brill. And for those of you who like to get up early, the camp will be set up at 7am! 🕞

For those of you who are not so early 😉 Barbara, Félix and Giacomo's arrival and first steps in the city will take place in the morning... enough to put off waking up for a few hours!

The afternoon program? Barbara's story readings, preparation of the Butterfly Soup, lantern making, all in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

What better way to start the weekend than with a good breakfast? Between 7am and 10am on Friday: it's croissant and coffee to get the festivities going at the camp!

If you can't make it the day before, there will be workshops all day long. And for those of you who want a nice place to relax and take a micro-nap: the hammocks will be there for you 🥹

The much-anticipated Grand Parade of Marionettes will kick off at 8pm, inviting participants to light up the town together, all the way to the final rendezvous: the Schlassgoard estate. The perfect place to admire the magnificent shows put on by the puppeteers, musicians, dancers and pyrotechnicians 🎇
