Open-air exhibition, as part of the 13th edition of Metz Photo, organized by Photo-Forum in partnership with the city of Metz, on the theme: "Prose and poetry - An aesthetic in-between."
This first exhibition of the 13th edition of Metz Photo presents a series of photographs entitled "La maison des vacances" by Charles Collongues, sponsor of this edition.
Born in Pau in 1993, he is a photographer who graduated from the Condé Nancy school where he developed his thesis on “The Aesthetics of Photographic Prose”.
His practice of the photographic camera and his documentary approach characterize his style. In 2018, his series on Europe was exhibited at the Maison Robert Schumann in Scy-Chazelles.
In the masterclass organized by Photo-Forum, he invites participants to reflect on the photographic aesthetics of their project:
Prose, poetry... or a clever mix of the two?
