An installation by eco-artist Laurence Piaget-Dubuis
Exhibition from June 21 to September 22, 2024
Opening June 20 at 6 p.m.
The entire Octave Cowbell team is happy to be part of the international Constellations festival in Metz this year with the Slowdown installation by Swiss eco-artist Laurence Piaget-Dubuis.
We invite you on June 20 at 6 p.m. to celebrate the inauguration of part of this installation which will be visible in the window of the Octave Cowbell gallery, but also at Metz station.

In a world under pressure where technological solutions become chimeras and consumption a refuge, Slowdown calls for the necessary transitions in the face of the impacts of climate change.
From the accelerated melting of glaciers, new spaces appear whose margins are the place for the emergence of individual and collective resistance. From the interconnection and interdependence of life comes the need to adapt our relationships and behaviors in order to preserve the habitability of our planet.
Laurence Piaget-Dubuis is a Swiss eco-artist whose project documents the traces of climate change in the Alps. These landscapes become a mirror of the relationship between humans and the environment. Convinced that art sharpens consciences, she is committed to living things and a sustainable, inclusive and positive future.
Curated by Myriama Idir, curator of the Urban Art program at the Constellations international festival in Metz.
Works presented in partnership with the city of Metz, Gares et Connexions and the Swiss Cultural Center. We tour, as part of the international Constellations festival in Metz 2024.
