The exhibition draws its inspiration from a fascinating 17th-century legend, that of La Sauvage de Lasauvage. This mysterious woman, clothed only in her wild hair, with sparkling eyes and sharp teeth, haunts the surrounding forests in popular tales. Through his works, the artist wished to bring this legend to life by confronting it with modern artificial intelligence technology. Indeed, by using AI to generate the patterns that will then be painted on large canvases, she creates a striking contrast between the ancient story and contemporary artistic practice. Each painting in this series represents La Sauvage in all her terrifying and enchanting splendor. The works are the result of the collaboration between the artist and artificial intelligence, thus offering a unique perspective on this ancestral legend.
